God created you to PROSPER!
This was on my mind as I am listening to Inner Circle audio from my company. I was just thinking about our creation and why we are here. Its something so vague, yet very specific. So it is literally 2:08 a.m. Thursday morning the day after Thanksgiving, to me technically I still call it Thanksgiving until the sun rises.
Why is it that we allow ourselves to be defeated? How come we settle for less even though we have that feeling deep inside that theres more to life? Can anyone tell me the answer to that?
I have always been one of those people that love to peel back layers and I always want to know more. I admit there was a time in my life that I did a 9-5, I think everyone in this world have. Even though I did good at work, I knew there was more for me. I knew I was meant for more. I always knew that I was meant for something greater than what I was doing.
Are we scared of our greatest potential? We bury our talent and don’t allow to release that inner “BEAST“. I remember growing up I was taught that I had to go to school and then go back to school again and you know the rest. I could’ve got my masters degree in psychology but honestly I was tired of school. I didn’t like the structure. These blogs are truly me giving it to you STRAIGHT! We were not created to just be regular human beings, I mean really think about it. Look at everything around you from the birds, to a tree, to vehicles, we living in an AMAZING world! I am tired of seeing people with so may talents waste their gifts. You are GREAT and POWERFUL! START ACTING LIKE IT! I don’t believe in coddling you and babying you I will give you that TOUGH love! I thank God for this company. You know how they say everything in life happens for a reason? I thank God for my mistakes, because all my mistakes lead me to where I am now. You know whats funny if you asked me 10 years ago where I’d be right now I would tell you a Psychologist with my own firm. Oh how things have changed. I at one point wanted to be a Detective but decided that took too much time and I realized I just rather play it on TV to be honest. If you would’ve asked me 6 years ago if I would ever join the army, I would’ve said HELL NO, but yet here I am an army veteran. Now that I look back at my life like a slideshow and I am very appreciative. I realized certain things I wanted, I wasn’t truly ready for.
We all want wealth, but we don’t want to step out and take a chance. Do you understand the most risky thing in life is actually having a job? You might disagree, but you’re putting you’re destiny in someone else’s hands. Like instead of controlling your life you are ALLOWING someone else to control yours. Now, I want to make this clear I am not KNOCKING anyone who works and lives their lives as employees, because someone has to, but I am talking to the ones who feel that burning desires inside. That person that feels like there is more to life than going to work clocking in and out. Asking your boss for a vacation.
Why is it that we are stuck in traditional thinking? Meaning, that because we were handed down this notion that there’s no other way to succeed other than the typical 9-5. Now I don’t know if you heard of Robert Kiyosaki, but he is the author of book called ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad‘ and it is a must read book. He basically discusses the difference between why their are people who are successful and people who aren’t. Guess what? It doesn’t matter where you live, where you come from, you home situation, you can be successful if you CHOOSE to be. I feel like I have been writing too long so going to stop I will do a prosper part II.
Today is the day to succeed there’s no other time. If not today, when? When is the right time? We often wait for the right time and that right time never comes, because truth is you were never going to go for it. You only have the PRESENT moment. You don’t have yesterday and you don’t have tomorrow, you have TODAY!
