How to Weather the Storm!

Failure is only the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.

–Henry Ford (1863-1947), founder of Ford Motor Company

Doesn’t matter how many times you FAIL and how many times you fall down how you get back up is what matters. Nothing in life is perfect and things won’t always goth way we want them to but in the end it’s our reaction that determines everything. You know what I love about Rocky? Is the amount of times he got up no matter how many times he got knocked down. So many times we want success, but we don’t want to go through what it takes to get there. We want the champagne toasting and vacation trips on a beach, but we don’t want those tireless nights or those NOs that we get.  We want the GLAMOUR, but we don’t want the GRITTY! With everything in life we have to put our effort in all that we do. We can’t allow ourselves to be discouraged just because things don’t go the way we expect. Often times the one time we want to give up is when we are closest to being successful. We can be successful only if we allow ourselves to be. Are you going to be successful today? Or are you going to continue to make excuses for yourself? The choice is up to you.

Will you be a part of the 97% that are unhappy in their lives? Or will you be a part of the 3% that are living their lives care free and financially free?

At the end of the day the choice is…YOURS!

Let me tell you a little bit of my story…

Through the military I was met with a lot of adversity. One of my toughest times was when I went to Afghanistan that was one of the most humbling experiences in my life, even thinking about it now I get tears in my eyes. I remember when I was in the back of that Humvee seeing all that was around me fearing for my life, that time there I think was the closest I was with God. During my time in Afghanistan I also lost my great grandmother and that was one of the hardest times for me because she was just a beacon of life. People will never understand how it is when you see people living a life of despair. That year I seen things I wish on no one to see. I felt things in my body I wouldn’t want my enemy to feel but because of it I am the man I am today. When I came back home I had to adjust. Everything that I saw was still with me, it’s still with me today. One thing I can tell you is that my mindset was different. Coming back I wanted more out of life, I knew that whatever my purpose was I wasn’t living it. I decided I needed to live, I wanted to be able to spend time with my kids and my wife.  I protect my family with my life. I live my life daily to become an inspiration to others and to inspire them to live their dreams.
